These operating systems made it easier for developers to create apps that could be used on mobile phones, which led to the rapid growth of the mobile app industry. In the 2010s, mobile phone technology continued to evolve with the introduction of 5G networks and foldable phones. 5G networks promised to deliver faster data speeds and lower latency, while foldable phones promised to provide a larger display area in a more compact form factor. Today, mobile phones have become an integral part of our lives.
